Miles was first inspired to fly when he attended his first airshow in 2008. At the age of 17 he earned his pilot’s license and started the journey to be an airshow pilot. Miles has now been flying for just over a decade, and has close to 5,000 hours of flight time in 70+ different aircraft ranging from a Piper Cub to the B-17 Flying Fortress. Miles now flies the Boeing 737 for work but spends his weekends traveling around the country flying in airshows, fulfilling his life’s dream of becoming an airshow pilot.
